Salt Fork State Park
The conference site is located in the Salt Fork State Park, which boasts of one of the longest beaches (2500ft along the Salt Fork Lake shore) in Ohio. In addition to swimming and picnicing facilities, you can also find a miniature golf course, baskeball courts, and the park's Nature Center near the beach.If you prefer to be on the water, Salt Fork has two marinas with a with a variety of boats for rent, and designated speed/water skiing zones. Salt Fork also allows fishing and hunting within the park, in certain designated areas, and with a valid permit.

The Salt Fork Resort and Conference Center is a pine beam and stone lodge, reminiscent of the turn-of-the century grand park lodges. It contains 148 guestrooms (a combination of single, double, and bunk rooms), 54 detached cottages and 8 meeting and conference rooms.
In addition to the state park activities, the Lodge features indoor/outdoor pools, Jacuzzi, game room, fitness center, family and children's activities, gift shop, lounge, full service restaurant, basketball, volleyball and tennis.

Travel Information
The Salt Fork State Park is located in southeastern Ohio, USA.There are two possible options for travel to the conference site:
By plane & coach:
For those who will need to fly to Ohio, we recommend flying into Columbus International Airport (CMH) prior to June 12. We will arrange for a private coach to leave the Hyatt-Regency (site of ACL08:HLT) on the morning of June 12 and return to Columbus on June 14th.
This option is highly recommended for those who will be attending ACL08:HLT directly after INLG 2008.
By car:
For those of you who wish to drive to INLG 2008, here are general driving directions, as well as a Google map (below).
Driving from the East:
- Take Interstate 70 east to Interstate 77 North.
- Follow Salt Fork signs to U.S. Route 22 East (Cambridge Exit 47).
- Turn right onto U.S. Route 22 East and follow approximately 6 miles to the Park entrance.
- Turn left into the park and follow the signs to the Lodge, which is approximately 7 miles from the park entrance.
- Interstate 79 South to Interstate 70 West.
- From Interstate 70 take Interstate 77 North to Exit 47 (U.S. Route 22 east, Cambridge).
- Turn right onto U.S. Route 22 East and follow approximately 6 miles to the park entrance.
- Turn left into the park and follow the signs to the Lodge, which is approximately 7 miles from the park entrance.
- Take Interstate 77 South to U.S. Route 22 East (Cambridge Exit 47).
- Turn left onto U.S. Route 22 East and go 6 miles to the park entrance.
- Turn left into the park and follow the signs to the Lodge, which is approximately 7 miles from the park entrance.
- Take Interstate 77 North to U.S. Route 22 East (Cambridge Exit 47).
- Turn right onto U.S. Route 22 East and go 6 miles to the park entrance.
- Turn left into the park and follow the signs to the Lodge, which is approximately 7 miles from the park entrance.
