2006 Deadlines
Winter Quarter
January 13 — 3rd Year Paper ColloquiumFest for students originally in the 2002 cohort who have taken a one-quarter leave from the program.February 10 — Written version of 3rd Year Paper due for students who presented their papers on January 13. (Submit pdf to the three members of the reading committee, cc to gradprog. Committees have until February 24 to review papers submitted on time.)
TBA — Winter quarter review of stage 2 plans for students in 2003 cohort who have taken a one-quarter leave of absence and of stage 3 plans for students who complete their 3rd Year Papers during this quarter.
Spring Quarter
April 7 — 3rd Year Paper ColloquiumFest for students originally in the 2002 cohort who have taken two quarters of leave from the program.TBA — Spring quarter review of student progress. Students in the 2004 cohort and their advisors should all have finalized stage 2 plans. Any students in earlier quarters who finish their 3rd Year Papers in this quarter should also have a stage 3 plan for review.
May 5 — Written version of 3rd Year Paper due for students who presented their papers on April 7. submit pdf to the three members of the reading committee, cc to gradprog; committees have until May 19 to review papers submitted on time.)
TBA — AdvisingFest for students in 2005 cohort.
May 26 — 2rd Year Paper ColloquiumFest for students in the 2004 cohort.
Autumn Quarter
September 22 — Written version of 2rd Year Paper due for students who presented their papers on May 26. (Submit pdf to the three members of the reading committee, cc to gradprog. Committees have until October 6 to review papers submitted on time.)September 29 — 3rd Year Paper ColloquiumFest for students in the 2003 cohort.
October 16 (and continued on October 23) — Review of Program of Study Stage 1 Plans for 2005 cohort. Review of Program of Study Stage 2 Plans for 2004 cohort.
October 27 — Written version of 3rd Year Paper due for students who presented their papers on September 29. (Submit pdf to the three members of the reading committee, cc to gradprog; committees have until November 10 to review papers submitted on time. Note that November 10 is an OSU holiday, so it is important to make sure that there be an electronic record of the submission to gradprog even if you arrange to deliver hard copy to your reading committee on that day.)
