2007 Deadlines
Winter Quarter
March 2 — 3rd Year Paper ColloquiumFest for students originally in the 2003 cohort who have taken a one-quarter leave from the program.Spring Quarter
April 13 — Written version of 3rd Year Paper due for students who presented their papers on March 2. (Submit pdf to the three members of the reading committee, cc to gradprog. Committees have until April 27 to review papers submitted on time.)May 11 & May 25 — 2nd Year Paper ColloquiumFest for students in the 2005 and out-of-sync 3rd Year Paper ColloquiumFest for students in earlier cohorts.
May 21 — Spring quarter review of student progress. Students in the 2005 cohort and their advisors should have finalized stage 2 plans for review. Any students in earlier cohorts who finish their 3rd Year Papers in this quarter should also have a stage 3 plan for review.
Plans should be sent to gradprog to collate in preparation for meeting by May 14.
TBA — Written version of 3rd Year Paper due for students who presented their papers on May 11 or May 25. (Given the irregular schedule that put the colloquia so late in the Spring Quarter, these will have to be negotiated with individual Reading Committees, and gradprog notified.)
June 4 — AdvisingFest for students in 2006 cohort.
Each first-year student should send an e-mail to gradprog listing faculty who the student wants to have at his or her AdvisingFest meeting by May 14.
Autumn Quarter
September 21 — Written version of 2rd Year Paper due for students who presented their papers in Spring Quarter 2007. (Submit pdf to the three members of the reading committee, cc to gradprog. Committees have until October 5 to review papers submitted on time.)September 28 — 3rd Year Paper ColloquiumFest for students in the 2004 cohort.
TBA — Review of Program of Study Stage 1 Plans for 2006 cohort.
October 26 — Written version of 3rd Year Paper due for students who presented their papers on September 28. (Submit pdf to the three members of the reading committee, cc to gradprog; committees have until November 9 to review papers submitted on time.
TBA — Review of Program of Study Stage 3 Plans for students in the 2004 cohort.
Review of student progress in all earlier cohorts.
November 8 — Out-of-sync 2nd Year Paper ColloquiumFest.
