Undergraduate Study at OSU Linguistics
Undergraduate Major in Linguistics
There are two tracks in this major:
Track A and
Track B. Track A is designed to give students familiarity with a broad range of subject areas in linguistics. Track B is particularly appropriate for students planning to go on to graduate school. As a means of promoting a deeper understanding of linguistics, Track B requires a sequence of two (typically) upper level courses in one subject area. In addition to these two tracks, undergraduates have the option of working out with the undergraduate advisor a variant tailored to their particular needs.
