Congratulations are due to Marivic Lesho, who has accepted a postdoctoral appointment in Postcolonial Language Studies at the University of Bremen, in Germany. She'll be working with Prof. Eeva Sippola, conducting research on Philippine language contact and teaching courses related to postcolonial linguistics (such as contact/creoles, sociolinguistics, language endangerment, or fieldwork).
