The Ohio State University Linguistics Department is pleased to announce the 11th edition of Language Files: Materials for an Introduction to Language and Linguistics. It is now available from The Ohio State University Press. Language Files is an introductory textbook prepared by the faculty and students of the Ohio State Department of Linguistics. It is used here at OSU and many other colleges and universities throughout the world.

An examination copy can be ordered at the Ohio State Press Website. Instructors should fill out the University Press form to request access to the instructors guide. Once your access is granted, you can access the instructor's guide here.
