New Positions for Abby Walker and Katie Carmichael

We are delighted to announce that sociolinguists Abby Walker and Katie Carmichael have both taken positions as tenure-track Assistant Professors of English at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Bob Levine has been elected to serve on the University Senate and the Faculty Council as an alternate representing the election district of the College of Arts and Sciences. He will serve a two-year term, AU2014 - SP2016. Congratulations Bob.
