Alexis Scharrer Receives Undergraduate Research Funding
Congratulations are due to Alexis Scharrer, a double major in Linguistics and Spanish, who has been awarded an Undergraduate Research Scholarship of $6000 and an International Research Grant of $4000 to conduct research in Guatemala this May on "Non-pulmonic consonants of K'iche', a Maya language spoken by the indigenous K'iche' people of central Guatemala".
