Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Alexis Scharrer Receives Undergraduate Research Funding

Congratulations are due to Alexis Scharrer, a double major in Linguistics and Spanish, who has been awarded an Undergraduate Research Scholarship of $6000 and an International Research Grant of $4000 to conduct research in Guatemala this May on "Non-pulmonic consonants of K'iche', a Maya language spoken by the indigenous K'iche' people of central Guatemala".
