Congratulations are due to Bethany Toma, double major in Linguistics and Chinese, who has been awarded a scholarship from the DAAD (Deutsche Akademischer Austauschdienst / German Academic Exchange Service) that will provide her with two years of funding for an M.Sc. in Computational Linguistics at a German university (850 Euro monthly stipend, 260 Euro per year as a study allowance and 950 Euro travel):

Thank you to her advisors, Judith Tonhauser and Marie de Marneffe, for notifying me of this excellent news.

Terrific to hear, Bethany!
