Congratulations are due to Lifeng Jin and Zach Jones, both recipients of summer Center for Cognitive and Brain Science (CCBS) fellowships to conduct interdisciplinary research under the direction of faculty from more than one participating department (fellowship info: https://cog.osu.edu/events/ccbs-summer-gra-graduate-students)
Lifeng’s project, Help training better doctors: deep paraphrase detection with semi-supervision for virtual patients is advised by William Schuler, Linguistics and Eric Fosler-Lussier, CSE.  Zach’s project, Processing indexical phonetic variability in childhood is advised by Cynthia Clopper, Linguistics and Laura Wagner, Psychology.
