Cynthia Clopper was inducted as a Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America on Wednesday at the ASA’s annual meeting. Fellows are selected based on having “rendered conspicuous service or made notable contributions to the advancement, generation, promotion, or dissemination of the knowledge of acoustics or the fostering of its practical applications.” Cynthia was specifically selected for her contributions to the acoustics and perception of dialect variation.
