Graduate Research Fellowship Awarded by the National Science Foundation

National Science Foundation logo.

Congratulations to Stephanie Antetomaso, who has been awarded a three-year Graduate Research Fellowship by the National Science Foundation, and to Evan Jaffe, Emily Clem, and Lara Downing, who received honorable mentions for their proposals. This year there were over 14,000 applications in all eligible fields, with 2,000 awards. GRFP fellows receive a $32,000 annual stipend and NSF contributes $12,000 each year as a cost-of-education allowance to the institution. This is the 60th anniversary year of the fellowships, described here. OSU Linguistics is honored to have long tradition of receipt of the fellowship, with many awardees and recipients of honorable mention among our current students and alums.
