Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Haley Koman and Carrissa Barron with scholarship

Linguistics at OSU

Congratulations to linguistics undergraduates Haley Koman and Carrissa Barron, who have each been awarded a Wolfe Study Abroad Scholarship to study in South Korea.  The Wolfe Scholarships are administered by the Office of International Affairs, and provide $2,500 for selected OSU students who are Ohio residents, graduated from an Ohio high school, are admitted to an OSU study abroad program and meet class standing and GPA requirements.  Haley will attend the Soonchunhyang International Exchange Program in the coming academic year, and Carissa will attend the Yonsei International Exchange Program this summer.

Well done, Haley and Carrissa!
