I am interested in several sub fields of linguistics. My research area is located at the intersection of semantics, morphology and historical linguistics with focus on Indo-Aryan languages. I am interested in understanding the evolution of the New Indo-Aryan TAM and case systems. I am working on Prof. Ashwini Deo’s NSF project on “The emergence of New Indo-Aryan tense, aspect, and modality” as a research assistant from June 2017.
