Join linguistics and language enthusiasts to hear invited speaker Joseph Windsor (University of Calgary) talk about constructed languages (conlangs), their history, and the linguistics that makes them possible! Dr. Windsor is a professor of linguistics, an expert conlanger, and the President of the Language Creation Society. He has worked on fictional languages such as Klingon from Star Trek, and Tekhwos, a language used in Dungeons and Dragons. This event is hosted by The UnderLings Club and the Office of Student Life.
