Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Preshuslee Thompson from the Kirwan Institute will give us Implicit Bias training.

Preshuslee Thompson serves as a Facilitation and Research Specialist for the Kirwan Institute's Implicit Bias/Race & Cognition Program. She specializes in working with and advocating on behalf of marginalized communities. Her research centers on providing culturally informed and bias conscious resources for those working to improve the lives of marginalized communities. 

Preshuslee is a Columbus native and is a graduate of The Ohio State University. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and minored in Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies as well as Sociology. Preshuslee emphasizes the importance of intersectionality and being trauma informed in every aspect of her career. Since graduating from The Ohio State University Preshus has worked in the non-profit sector providing advocacy for transient youth and adults, those suffering from mental illness and addiction, prisoners and survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. At the Kirwan Institute Preshus is committed to facilitating trainings that leave audience members informed, equipped, and committed to creating a more just and equitable society for all people.
