On Sept 27th, 2025, the department hosted the Linguistics Welcome Picnic at Whetstone Park. Everyone enjoyed some Bibibop, dessert, and a lot of great visiting!
Carrying on the tradition from last semester, we received a visitor from the Buckeye Paws Program - Max, who is a double doodle (labradoodle and
goldendoodle) on November 14th, 2025. Everyone, including Max, seemed to enjoy the visit!
The semester was closed out with the End of the Semester Linguistic Celebration, on December 11th, 2025, held at Oxley. The celebration, was well attended, and was really an excuse to drink hot chocolate and enjoy each others company!
