Congratulations to Bridget Smith, Mary Beckman and Anouschka Foltz, (with many thanks to Jennifer Zhang) on the publication of their new book, Analyzing the sounds of languages. The text has been used as the basis for our LING 2051 course of the same name for the past several years. The newly published version (including chapter R scripts and associated text files) is available online at the Knowledge Bank

Instructors and students can get the R code and data files for each chapter directly from that site, and there are also a handful of introductory tutorial movies for getting started in R located there.
