The department welcomed prospective students for a visit in February (and got some table tennis in).
We had a visit from professional conlangers David J. Peterson and Jessie Sams, who talked about their work on television and movies (including the upcoming Dune movie).
Department members enjoyed waffles together on the last day of classes.
Faculty and students enjoyed the new courtyard furniture at our end-of-year reception, with a performance from undergraduate student Simon Grome's band, Straight Gone.
